Founder Riana Nel is a passionate entrepreneur who started Succulent Oasis as a part time venture (hobby) in 2012.
" My interest in succulents began many years ago, and the enthusiasm have never worn off. Succulents have provided endless pleasure and enjoyment in my life.
A few years back I decided to sell some of my plants at a local market over weekends, not long and the plants had an " upgrade" from plastic containers to just about anything I could find. I soon realised that there was a gap in the market for handmade pots that was unique and original.
So I started in my garage with secret recipes to make my own pots.
I joined a few christmas markets, became a member of a local craft institute, did some trade shows, we'll and as they say THE REST IS HISTORY :)
What started off as a Saturday morning market, is now a business that do weddings,
supply wholesale, and now also has a range of decor items."
